Azza El-Leisy trained as a dancer and was for many years engaged in classical ballet companies, most recently in Essen, where she met her husband Magdy El-Leisy. Magdy introduced her to the art of oriental dance. Since 1985 the couple have been in demand for international dance shows all over the world. In addition to her numerous performances, Azza teaches regular classes and leads workshops in oriental dance.
