Magdy El-Leisy comes from Cairo, where he received his artistic training. Engagements as a classical dancer followed, first in Cairo, the United Arab Emirates, Teheran and finally Germany. While still in Cairo he discovered his love of oriental dance, and worked with the folklore group of Kamal Naim in many Arab countries.

Together with his wife Azza El-Leisy he offers:

- Organisation of dance excursions and travel

- Collection of oriental costumes
